Getting to RCA from Huai Khwang

RCA is inside Huai Khwang, so there is no journey to describe. What matters is that the district is much bigger than the strip: an address in Huai Khwang can be a short walk from the clubs or a fifteen-minute drive, so check where in the district something actually is before assuming it is close.

What it's like after dark

Local rather than touristic, and genuinely late — the district is known among Bangkok residents for street food that runs well past midnight, which is why it absorbs a lot of the crowd leaving RCA at closing. It is a working part of the city rather than a nightlife destination in itself, with the notable exception of the strip.

Trains and roads

MRT Huai Khwang and MRT Thailand Cultural Centre serve the wider district on the Blue Line, and MRT Phetchaburi is the nearest station to the strip. As everywhere around here, the last stretch to RCA is by road.
